Raven and Finch wins gold at the EFFIE Awards with Austrian National Tourist Office

At the 2020 EFFIE Awards, Salzburg-based sound branding agency Raven and Finch, in collaboration with Österreich Werbung, won gold for the audio guide app #RelatedToAustria. With this app, city tours become interactive experiences – such as a city tour of Vienna, where “Ludwig van Beethoven” auditorily guides guests personally through “his” metropolis in the Beethoven Year.

Raven and Finch – as a specialist in sound branding, branded podcast, audio content marketing, voice technologies and user interface sounds – was instrumental in implementing the audio storytelling project together with WienTourismus and its partner Palais Hansen Kempinski. “It is a great honor for us to be involved in such a great project as this audio augmented reality app,” says Max Kickinger, Founder of Raven and Finch. Other partners of the project were the Vienna Tourist Board, the agency Vizeum, Speed U Up – Digital Pioneering and the agency gyro.
