For many years, the popular audio format for the search engine giant was rather irrelevant, for only about two years, for example, podcasts are integrated into Google Play Music. Also, the Google Assistant has been able to handle podcasts better since the last update and saves progress across multiple devices. And now Google wants to go one step further and embed podcasts in the Google search.
Podcasts or audio content in general should be displayed on an equal footing with text, image and video content. Audio should become a “first-class citizen” in Google Search.
